# Introduction

These pages explain how the KPN Firmware Update Service works and how to use it most effectively.

## Users

You can get access to Firmware Update Service pages using your Things Portal account and GRIP. Please note that not all Things users automatically have access to the Firmware Update Service pages. An additional authorization is required, which must be requested from KPN via a standard Request. To do so, please contact your KPN representative.
